Dog-Friendly Vacations: Dog-Friendly Outer Banks: Nags Head, North Carolina
Dog-Friendly Nags Head, NC We had a few wonderful dog-friendly places to visit in Nags Head, NC during our Outer Banks Vacation. Nags Head was a great dog-friendly town and we had plenty of things to do.
Jockey’s Ridge |
One morning Dexter The Dog and I headed to Jockey’s Ridge State Park for a dog-friendly trip. Wow! What an amazing dog-friendly park that was. It was early morning and in May, so the sand dunes weren’t too hot for Dexter’s feet. But be careful, in the summer with the heating of the day the sand can get to be 125 degrees!
Dexter and I also visited Salty Paws Biscuits at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing. I bought some tasty cheese and oat dog treats for Dexter and a cute dog t-shirt for myself. The staff at Salty Paws Biscuits were extremely nice.
