It’s about time Mom had me do another healthy dog treat review! I’ve been a little dry these days. Luckily for me, Halo, Purely For Pets sent me some Halo Liv-a-Littles Salmon dog treats to review. Nothing beats a tasty morsel.

When my box arrived from Halo, Purely For Pets my sniffer was working hard. I know, I just know when there is something good in a box. And I always hope it’s for me. It usually is, of course. I ran over to “my spot” trying to encourage Mom to open the box quicker and get to the good stuff.

Oh, finally I could see they were tasty treats for me! The wholesome aroma that only I could smell filled the room. Mom brought me over the container of Halo Liv-a-Littles Salmon dog treats to get a better smell. Yup, drool started to drip down my face. Boy, that can be embarrassing! Mom slowly opened the jar of Halo Liv-a-Littles Salmon dog treats. You know, I think she likes to tease me at times. I know she can open those jars quicker than she did. Finally, she gave me a treat! Oh, wow. It was worth the wait.

The wild salmon dog treat was so flavorful that I started to drool again for a second one. Halo Liv-a-Littles Salmon dog treats are freeze-dried to hold in all the flavor. Mom said that the treat has a “high value” perfect for dog training. These treats are 100% wild salmon, no fillers of any kind. Now it’s time in my review to break down Halo Liv-a-Littles Salmon dog treats.

First, it’s a single ingredient (just wild salmon) which is always important, especially if you intend to use the healthy dog treat for dog training. That also means no chemicals, preservatives, dyes, or coloring agents. The ingredients are both sourced and manufactured in the USA. Those are some impressive stats. Mom also said that some of the salmon treats can be broken into smaller bites for dog training. Not that I agree with that idea, but it can be done. She also had them in her pocket all day and said they did not crumble or turn into powder like some other freeze-dried dog training treats do. They make two other flavors too: Halo Liv-a-Littles Chicken and Halo Liv-a-Littles Beef.

Halo Liv-a-Littles Salmon Dog Treats are a big win in my book!
Thank you again, Halo, Purely For Pets for allowing me to review your treats.

Pros: 100% wild salmon and nothing else, made and sourced in the USA, high-value reward for dog training, did not crumble in pocket, healthy treat, very enjoyable
Cons: Can’t think of a single one!
