Bring on the snacks! Yup, I love the healthy dog treat reviews Mom has been having me do this week. There’s nothing wrong with eating some tasty food for my paycheck. Max & Ruffy’s was kind enough to send me some bags of their USDA Organic Dog Treats. You heard me right, ORGANIC DOG TREATS!
Mom always does her best to feed me organic home-cooked dog meals and organic dog treats whenever possible. Organic foods do not use harmful insecticides, fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, antibiotics, growth hormones, radiation, or other detrimental ingredients or practices. That said, you still need to be careful about labeling and read the ingredients carefully.
Max & Ruffy’s offers your companion a selection of uncompromised, eco-friendly dog treats using only the freshest 100% organic, non-genetically modified organisms (non-GMO), and human-grade ingredients. Max & Ruffy’s treats are made using 100% certified organic human-grade ingredients sourced from socially responsible companies. Their line of oven-baked organic dog treats includes both wheat-free dog treats and grain-free dog treats. Max & Ruffy’s does not use any animal ingredients in any of their products in order to supply the very best vegetarian dog treats and vegan dog treats on the market. That sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it?
Not only are these organic dog treats healthy, but they also are delicious! I’m not sure where to begin because Max & Ruffy’s sent me more than one flavor. They sent Banana & Coconut, Coconut, Molasses & Flax, Strawberry & Carob, Five Star Blueberry, and Quinoa & Pumpkin! My little taste buds went into overdrive, and I liked it.
They also sent over their organic dog treats in two sizes: Original Bites and Mini Bites. I, of course, prefer the larger Original Bites, but I think Mom likes the smaller ones for smaller rewards. She even had the audacity to break one of the larger organic dog treats into four smaller pieces! She can be such a party pooper. Mom tried to figure out which flavor I liked best, but it’s really a bit of a draw. However, I do go for the Five Star Blueberry and Quinoa & Pumpkin first more often. But they all are tasty, and I would never snub any of the flavors. You can’t really go wrong with any of their options.
