The Summer of 2010 was a real blast! I went to this really fun event in Frankenmuth Michigan called The Dog Bowl. This was so much fun! I don’t even know where to begin. Mom, Grandma & I spent the entire day there. It was pretty darn hot, but we took breaks & I even got to get my feet wet in this decorative stream that was around. We went on a big boat ride down the river, watched our Disc Dog & Dock Diving Friends. But, the most fun I had was when I tried the Lure Course! All I wanted to do, was go back & try to catch that fur toy again, and again.
In June us Four Musketeers went to a rocket launch. This is something Eddie absolutely loves to do. Mom wasn’t sure how I would do with all the loud noises & ships going so fast up, up, up into the air. But, in true Dexter form, I had a BLAST! Woof Woof! My favorite was hanging out with the young folks. They really were nice, helping me do tricks & giving me cookies. Who wouldn’t love that?
I also went to the Holland Strawberry Festival. I really think it’s fun going to new places & getting a whiff of the area. It doesn’t hurt that there usually is a small person or two who gives me a scratch & treat. My mom sometimes does some pretty crazy things with me, but I love her.
I met up with my pal Sammy again from Assistance Dogs. I really enjoy playing with him. He is certainly one of my favorite playmates. I’m really going to miss him when he finds his soul mate.
