Unfortunately, I didn’t have anyone contact me about Florida. However, I’ve traveled there 2x and here is what we did. 🙂 https://raisingyourpetsnaturally.com/dog-friendly-florida/
Thank you for featuring the Elkhorn Inn & Theatre in West Virginia! We’ve Facebooked, Tweeted, and Pinterested it!
🙂 Thanks for offering such a great spot for dog families.
It is so lovely to see so many places that are dog friendly, I am a dog owner and they are part of the family so should be able to go on trips as well x
I totally agree!
I am already planning my next 10 trips. It is so amazing to see so many options that are pet-friendly in every way. I especially love the glamping options they are all too cute.
lol Me too! 2019 is finished and I’m setting up 2020~
My husband and I don’t have dogs yet but this is awesome to know for the future. I’m definitely passing this on to my friends who are dog-owners.
Thanks for sharing!
Traveling with dogs is very interesting and pleasing experience. it makes you see the place from yet new alngle. Too bad it is not that easy to find a good spot for your pet to stay with. Thanks for the list, very helpful!
Absolutely a new experience with traveling with a dog. Yes, it can take a bit more planning, but it’s getting easier each day.
I love that there are so many places that are pet friendly now a days. If we did more driving for our vacations, I would bring my dog along.
🙂 I haven’t flown with my pup, he’s too big. So, we only travel via car.

Catherine, I so love that you travel with y our morkie. It makes for such a great trip and bonding.
Nick’s Cove isn’t too far from us! I love that there are so many places that accept dogs; I will have to tell my husband about that place and look into planning a trip!

Wow! That’s amazing.
This is a great list for dog lovers who also like to travel!
Thanks, Mimi!
What a lovely selection of places to stay at if you have dogs as they are family too! All too often you find places which don’t accept pets so its nice to find places that do and enable us to travel with ALL of our family.
Thanks. I love that these inns and cabins welcome all members of the family. 🙂
oh my gosh, thank you for sharing this. I badly need this information. We are heading to sfo and will be dropping by Napa Valley with our 2 chihs.
Ya! Glad to help. Enjoy your trip!
This might be the most important post that I have read in a while! Thank you for all this great info. It is so hard finding places that are willing to accept my four legged boy, no matter how sad he can make his eyes!
Awe, thank you!
I just love reading and going thru all these pictures that accommodate our furkids. I remember when I was trying to book for a resort but then pets are not allowed such a pain – but I cannot leave my furkids, so we change plan hehe.
Good for you! It’s always so much more enjoyable to travel with the entire family. 🙂 Glad you found another dog-friendly resort.
It’s great to be able to travel with your pet. This is an awesome list of resources! My friend travels with her dogs all the time, and I’ll have to save this list for her.
Thanks for sharing!
I would personally be nervous to take our dogs to a lodge or cabin, but these are some great ideas. I might be open to trying it. Thanks for sharing.
Shannon, it’s good to know your dog. Not all dogs enjoy traveling.
Thanks for sharing such useful information. I would love to visit these places. But I am saving this for my future.
You bet!
If ever I take my pup on a vacay these would be great options for sure!
Do it! It’s so much fun.
Glad to see places that have concerns for animal. Our pet need to treat also as human and they deserve it.
100%
We travel a lot and it is so sad that sometimes even if we want to bring our pets it can’t be due to some policies of the places we are going. Thank you for sharing this.
That is a shame. Hopefully, some of these spots will be helpful.
Definitely, good places for the furry friend to relax too. After all, dogs are also family.
Absolutely!
I had heard of Nick’s cove and Nape Inn as a pet aka dog-friendly cottage. And in Nicks people are very friendly too. Others I did not know.
Thanks, Monidipa. It’s great to hear your feedback. 🙂
Thanks for sharing this list. It will be super useful for those who love to travel with canines.
You bet!
Traveling is my family thing currently we have cat. She is quite a traveler now. Choosing a hotel with a pet is not that hard but it can be expensive, I love to stay on a hotel who is pet friendly in a reasonable price.
I love that you are traveling with your cat! I’ve seen more and more cats on the road.
This is so great. I didn’t realize they had so many great places to take your pets. I will have to take this with me when I travel with my dog. Oreo would love traveling with me.
I’m rooting for Oreo to go on an epic road trip!
I have always thought it would be fun to travel with my beagles. These are some awesome locations for them to go with us!
Go for it! I love beagles, they are so sweet.
These look very swanky for pets and adults alike and I’m going to show my friends that live in the US! Great suggestions!
Thank you! 🙂

Hi, Nina! So glad you found me. I will keep them coming. 🙂
This is so important for those of us who want to bring our pets along for vacation! It can be so hard to find a place that lets you bring your pets too!
Very true, Emily. I’m so thankful to the places on this list for opening their doors to our canine travel companions.
Wow there are some great options for dog owners. Thanks for sharing
Glad to share such great accommodations.
