Dog-Friendly Waterville, Ohio: Farnsworth Metropark
Hello, friends. Today I had a great day! First, I helped my Mom test and evaluate some local therapy dog teams here in Toledo, Ohio. I played the role of neutral dog. I had a good time, because, between my jobs, Grandma walked me around to say hello to people. Sweet!
Then, this afternoon the Family (I’m part of that title) went to Farnsworth Metropark in Waterville, Ohio for a fishing adventure! Well, we decided last minute not to bring the fishing poles and just took a hike. I should say a hike and wade for me and Mom.
Check out my little dog video of me wading in the water and scaling the rocks. I am a dog rock star!
To top off the night, we all went out for ice cream at Mr. G’s Barn in Toledo Ohio! I got robbed!!! Because Grandma has been feeding me too many snacks, I wasn’t allowed to have ice cream! Not even doggie ice cream. Mom brought my bully stick, but I was not happy with that. So she added a little ice cream cone to it, and it pacified me. I don’t think she’ll be doing THAT again! ~Dexter The Dog
