Today is Strawberry Ice Cream Day! There's no getting around it— traditional ice cream isn't the healthiest of foods. And for dogs and cats, dairy is pretty much a no-no, since a dog or cat's gut just doesn't tolerate lactose. It's not uncommon for pets to experience diarrhea, gas, or vomiting when eating dairy products. For that matter, people can also be lactose intolerant.
